So, I have always been looking for a different career, something with time freedom as well as financial freedom. In 1999, we began to actively search for an alternative that would give us the time and financial freedom that we so desperately desired. We found a network marketing business we thought would bring financial and time freedom, only to experience a loss of over $8,000 in a year and a half. We were naturally very skeptical when asked to take a look at this company. You see in our minds they were all the same. We assumed this was going to be the same. Were we ever wrong!
In our first 30 days in the business, we earned over $500, over the next three months we built an organization of over 100 customers, then sat back as customers and waited for the big paychecks. A year or so later, we realized financial success only comes with continuous effort, so now we work our business part-time, every day of every week.
The easiest thing we could have done would have been to have heard about this opportunity and do nothing (which I almost did). We decided that we would take charge of our situation and took the risk.
